We are Americans a long way from home London, Barcelona, and London again. We are now two Americans a long way from home, plus a German and a Canadian for good measure. There’s food we miss and food we’ve developed new respect for (beans on toast, I’m looking at you). In between suitcase loads of quaker oats, thin mints and beef jerky we scour foreign supermarkets for suppertime inspiration. And write about it.
