Help me, please! Breakfast edition

I blogged a few months ago about my wonderous discovery that eating protein for breakfast keeps me full until lunch.  Since then I’ve eaten either: a) toasted PB&J, or b) a fried egg sandwich every single morning.

But now I’m bored, so I’m hoping the collective wisdom of Cheezcloth readers will be able to expand my breakfast horizons.

Only two requirements for new brekkie ideas: must include protein, and prep can’t take longer than the 2-3 minutes my current choices take.

  1. Smoothies! Coffee frozen yogurt and a big spoon of peanut butter. Some gross people add bananas, but I think you know my feelings about that.

    There is a hitch, of course: I’ve never seen coffee frozen yogurt in this godforsaken country.
